Zooey's Cilantro Hot Sauce

I adapted this Indian chutney recipe by adding pepitas and omitting sugar. Thanks to a slightly more savory flavor, this hot sauce pairs wonderfully with curry, tacos, and everything in between. Talk about versatility!
Ingredients
- 1 c cilantro
- 1/2 c pepitas (roasted pumpkin seeds)
- 1/2 - 1 fresh jalapeño or serrano pepper (choose depending on your spice preference!)
- 1 tsp sea salt or Himalayan salt
- 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 c water

This one-step-wonder couldn’t be easier: toss all of the ingredients in your blender, then blend until smooth. Proceed to pour over absolutely EVERYTHING. Have extra hot sauce left after brunch or dinner?
