    Calming Space giving us Snacks

    The addition of the Farmstand to my classroom has been wonderful. The gentle calming of the pump running at intervals throughout the day is the white noise students enjoy. We also actively watch our farmstand to see how our plants are doing. Recently we had a problem with our pump and until it was corrected students were commenting on the noise not being there and the plants looking sad. Skip ahead one week and all plants are thriving and the noise continues to calm us. I often break off a leaf or two for students that wish for a snack and they enjoy on their way out of the classroom.
