Little bebé leaves - in a mature burgundy color.

The fountain of youth may not exist - but red cloud tatsoi sure is pretty timeless. These beautifully cupped, uniform leaves are a deep burgundy color, but they maintain their petite size for an extended harvest window. The deep purple color brings with it extra nutrition and beta carotene. Try their mild flavor and juicy texture in salads and Asian-inspired wok creations.

Harvesting tips

Plant Red Cloud Tatsoi anywhere on your farm. It’s a cut-and-come-again cultivar, which means you can harvest its leaves and it’ll keep making more. At different stages of growth you'll notice subtle differences in tenderness and flavor. At about 5", the leaves are ideal for salads and eating raw. If you let them grow to 7-9" you can harvest them as a whole bunch and they’ll be sturdy enough for stir-frying, braising, or sauteing.
