Edible Flower Sugar Cookies

We have the most festive way for you to use your edible flowers... Decorate your holiday cookies with them! Just press them on top of your favorite cookie base for an easy (and aesthetic) way to present your dessert. Perfect for gifting or enjoying for yourself!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c viola, dianthus, or other edible flowers
Instructions
Step 1
Make your favorite homemade cookie dough (or grab a premade dough). We recommend shortbread or sugar cookies for best results.
Step 2
Roll the dough into 1" balls, gently flatten them out and place on the baking sheet, about 2” apart.
Step 3
Top each cookie with the viola and dianthus from your Farmstand by lightly pressing them into the dough.
Step 4
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until cookies have set.
Step 5
Remove the cookies from the oven and place on a cooling rack to allow the cookies to set.
Step 6
Enjoy or package as holiday gifts!
